Spinal Decompression in Le Claire
When you have back pain that won’t go away, you might find relief with spinal decompression.
At Kautz Chiropractic, we offer spinal decompression to allow vertebra whithin the spine to open and close allowing any compressed nerves, ligaments or discs to be decompressed and alleviate your pain any symptoms.
-
Treatment include:
Bulging disks, when a cushion between vertebrae bulges out.
Degenerative disks, when the cushion between vertebrae starts wearing out.
Herniated disks, when part of a disk pushes on a nerve.
Pinched nerves, when a nerve gets pinched (compressed), causing numbness, pain or tingling.
Sciatica, damage to your sciatic nerve.
Spinal stenosis, narrowing of spaces in your spine due to bone spurs or bulging or herniated disks.
-
It can create a negative intradiscal pressure to promote retraction or repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc material.
It also create a lower pressure in the disc that will cause an influx of healing nutrients and other substances into the disc.
-
Back decompression is a non-invasive and generally safe option. While side effects are rare, they can occur in some cases. This includes muscle soreness, numbness/tingling, or headaches. If this happens we will generallly back off the amount of force to decompress for next treatment.

It takes anywhere from 15-17 minutes.
